12 Carats PDF Pattern

Our original name for this quilt was "12 Carrots" an ode to the color and the amount of fat quarters we needed. But once we saw the diamonds, we thought it might be better to use "Carats" instead. After all, somebody might not want an orange quilt! I think Peter Rabbit would definitely approve of the green binding!

12 Fat Quarters* for blocks, 1 yard light background for blocks, 7/8 yard light print for border, 5/8 yard medium print for binding, and 4 yards of fabric for backing. * a fat quarter is an 18X 21 inch cut of fabric.
