I have been saving these pictures for a few months waiting to get this post on our new blog! The following photos were taken this Summer during the photo shoot for our new website. We have a great local restaurant called Joe’s Farm Grill and they have a great bathroom!

All the restroom walls are tiled in white and there are several niches in the walls. Inside these niches Barbie dolls are proudly displayed.

I think there might even be a GI Joe doll in there somewhere.

These dolls are dressed in bright retro outfits and proudly displayed behind thick protective plastic covers.

The bathroom also hosts one of the biggest urinals that I have ever seen. I know that I am not an expert on urinals…but this one looked HUGE. I think that average 4 year old could get lost in it.

But the best part about the whole bathroom is the TV. Yes…television!

I have never been in a bathroom with a television. What makes this television special is that it plays continuous movies. Not just any movies either. Do you remember those old space puppet animation ones where all the puppets have these weird huge heads and trapdoor mouths? It is the most entertaining bathrooms that I have ever been in ~ makes you want to sit and stay awhile.

Say Bye Bye!

If you are ever in the area I highly recommend a visit, and I almost forgot the burgers are great too.

I am finally blogging!

When Mary and I decided that we were going to start blogging, some ground rules were set…..the first was that this was not to become a blog about my dog ~ Bella. I will just get this over with and post our very first picture of who else but

BELLA!!!

Now that I’ve broken rule number one by posting her picture, I might as well break rule number two by telling you that she’s the cutest dog on the planet!!!

I feel so free ~ I’ve already broken the first two rules!!!
I’m sure I will look back on this first post as looking very primitive in the years to come ~ but a girl has to start somewhere!

I hope that you continue to join us along our designing and quilting journey. I will break many of the rules that Mary and I agreed on ~ but that’s half the fun!
Breaking rules has always been a favorite pastime and I know that Mary really loves Bella!
