Soon we will have the garage back and all this stuff will be gone. My car has hated being outside every night.

And I have shipped the prizes we are donating to the Fab Shop Dinner and Martingale Booth Hop …

I hope they arrive safely and the winners enjoy them.

I think these pink dots are going to make our crate easy to spot on the loading dock!

All the piecing Mary and I have been doing lately eventually needs to go somewhere to be quilted … and it always ends up with our quilter Sharon!

Poor girl! It seems that it’s all either feast or famine with customers like us.

I think she has quilted about 20 quilts and samples for us in the past month.

When I met her at one of our local quilt shops the other day for a pick up she was carrying this …

Way too many I found out!

This is only 1 months worth of cups and at this rate I could possibly to circle the globe in the coming months …

Gotta get off the Sonic!

Wonder how many cups it will take to get around the globe? …

Hmm … I’m not even out of the driveway yet so I guess it’s not that bad!

The other day I had a cup blowout. I turned the corner going out of the parking lot too fast and when I grabbed the cup to keep it from tilting, I drove the straw thru the styrofoam. Diet Sprite sprayed into the seat of my car and soaked my pants before I could grab it and hold it out the car window.

During this re enactment no Diet Sprite was wasted or harmed.

Slurp!!

1 ~ Mary and I went to Quilt Camp with plenty of supplies and sewed new sample quilts for market …

2 ~ I have been hooked on watching the new reality TV show Duck Dynasty (I love Jase! He is the one who wears the black bandana) while sewing sample quilts for market.

3 ~ I have been watching Storage Wars (Barry is my favorite!) marathons while sewing a new top secret project for a charity book we are contributing to.

4 ~ We have been finishing up 21 quilts for our new Leisure Arts book being released next Spring. A sequel to this …

5 ~ I have been collapsing into bed after sewing all these projects and trying to run a household and business while constantly sewing.

6 ~ We have been sewing sample quilts for a new Patchwork Place book we are working on for Fall 2013!

7 ~ Getting the new patterns ready for the printer. They will be available at the end of May.

8 ~ Watching re runs of Law and Order while sewing a project for a new Australian magazine project!

9 ~ Supervising “Man Land” and the building of a new larger crate to ship our stuff to Quilt Market …

10 ~ Just plain old exhausted getting ready for Quilt Market!

Phew!

Can’t wait to get on that airplane bound for Kansas City to RELAX …

And you know what that means … I had to buy it!

I fell in love with this adorable way to display quilts!

So I purchased 5 of these …

Item # 3070406. I guess they are really picture hangers and they come with a black chain. But I liked the rope look that they had in the store.

So I had my husband make 5 of these …

Which led to putting a fresh coat of paint on the bedroom walls and some precise measurements …

Now I have my very own quilt display. It really was easy!

Especially since my husband did all the work for this simple project.

The hardest part was figuring out what quilts to hang. I know you are wondering where the BRIGHT quilts are … well they are still EVERYWHERE in my sewing room. This time I needed quilts that matched my bedding. Mary and I have lots of old quilts left over from our shop owner days so I decided to dig some of those out to use.

I even turned two of them around so the backs would be showing to break things up a bit.

I love me new quilt display! It helps to cover a huge wall and I can change the quilts whenever I want!

Next SIMPLE project …

I could NOT resist this cute little dress for Bella …

I absolutely love this tattoo!  And it looks like all that extra walking we have been doing is paying off … no muffin top in stretch knit!

I think she likes this dress too and can’t wait for the end of season bikini markdowns!
